Abu Dhabi’s candidacy to host the 24th World Energy Congress continues to attract growing local, regional and international support from a wide range of organisations and groups.

Across the United Arab Emirates, local and federal government entities have unanimously pledged their assistance and participation. This is mirrored by numerous corporations, multinationals and companies from the private sector.

Meanwhile, various World Energy Council (WEC) national committees across the Middle East and North Africa region continue to express their strong backing for the 2019 Congress to take place in Abu Dhabi.

It would also be an honour for Abu Dhabi to be the first OPEC member to host a World Energy Congress. At the recent OPEC meeting in Vienna, many members voiced their fullest support and encouragement for Abu Dhabi’s candidacy.
